I've been so looking forward to trying this on, and now that I've cast off all I can do is sit and watch it slo-o-o-wly dry....
PS note to self - remember to buy some blocking wires at the weekend!
[edit] I love that the way I've blocked it has naturally pulled a nice waist shape!
That looks lovely. I would feel very proud to have knitted something so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAm a bit late getting to this entry.....I am interested to see what you are blocking onto - a good idea I had seen for my granddaughter but not for me to use. Do you stock blocking wires and pins?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bit of knitting - as always :)
Hi Anthea - I'm after proper pins and wires too. My suppliers don't seem to have them and I've received blank faces when I've asked at my local store and when I asked around at Wonderwool. I've found some online which are out of stock. I'm sure I saw some at Fibre-East last year, so fingers crossed that the same people will be there this year!
ReplyDeleteIn the mean time I'm using regular glass-headed pins and my longest thinnest needles.
